A) Model 1863 U.S. Amoskeag (Manchester, New Hampshire). Only approx. 27,000 made. No breaks, no repairs. All complete and matching including the leather sling. There is a carved out star (XX Corps) on the stock. Well marked and dated in the proper places. Cartouche is plainly visible.....SOLD

B) Model 1863 U.S. Bridesburg (Springfield contract). It is really quite nice. The barrel has the Springfield markings and so does the lockplate (1864 and two eagles). The barrel bands and buttplate also have the Springfield markings. Comes with bayonet and ramrod. All the brass has been gold plated.....SOLD

C) U.S. Colt's Patent Fire Arms Manufacturing Company in Hartford Connecticut. Marketed as the "U.S. Rifle Musket, Special Model 1861". Lockplate is dated 1863. Comes with ramrod. Overall condition is excellent. Both .58 caliber barrel and lock dated 1863. All markings excellent including U.S. inspector's cartouche. Metal surfaces are smooth and bright just as manufactured. All metal parts including the ramrod have federal sub-inspector's marks. Beautiful example.....SOLD

I) Model 1863 Springfield Rifle Musket, Type I. Single shot .58 caliber muzzleloader. All metal parts finished bright. Walnut stock. An absolutely beautiful example.....$2375

K) Model 1861 U.S. Savage R.F.A. Co., Middletown, Ct. .58 caliber with cartouche, dated 1864. Complete with proper swelled ramrod.....$1325

L) Model 1860 Spencer Repeating Rifle, all original with magazine and sight. Has not been cleaned. No repairs.....$2950

N) Model 1861 U.S. Norwich (Connecticut) with ramrod. Lockplate dates 1865. Barrel bands marked "U". Traces of "VP" on barrel. No breaks, no repairs. Swivels present. Typical wood loss near percussion cap.....$1475

O) Model 1861 Springfield Rifled Musket .58 caliber dated 1862 on lockplate and barrel. "V" "P" and eagle's head marked on barrel. Large folk art "X" for I'd on stock. Both swivels present and functional. Replaced sight. Barrel bands and butt plate marked. Barrel is smooth to the touch. Original brown color. Ramrod is present. Strong spring.....$1595

P) Model 1861 U.S. Springfield dated 1861 on the lockplate. Two cartouches (ESA) on stock along with two folk art carvings. Sight is a correct replacement. Swivels present but are frozen up. Three barrel bands and butt plate marked "U.S." Color is a medium brown. Strong spring. Hammer cocks and releases well. "V", part of "P" and a trace of the eagle head can be seen on the barrel. Ramrod included.....$1750

Q) Model 1861 U.S. Springfield dated 1862 on the lockplate and barrel (light). All original, no replaced parts, no breaks or repairs. Has not been cleaned. "Right out of the attic" condition. Barrel bands marked "U" and butt plate marked "U.S.". Strong spring. Both swivels present and functional. "V" "P" and eagle's head visible on barrel. Ramrod included.....$1575

R) Special Model 1861 Contract Rifle-Musket manufactured by Lamson, Goodnow, & Yale of Windsor Vermont. Only about 50,000 made. Lockplate dated 1862 (first year of production). Lockplate markings are weak but present and correct. Springfield markings on barrel sharp. Strong solid piece with no repairs.....$1250

S) Model 1861 U.S. Springfield dated 1861 on both barrel and lockplate. Has not been cleaned. Comes with original ramrod and bayonet. Has all the proper inspector's marks and cartouche.....SOLD

AAI) Model 1861 U.S. Springfield dated 1862. All original and functional. Has not been cleaned or refinished. Comes with original swelled rod. Bayonet available.....SOLD

AAJ) Model 1861 U.S. Springfield Rifled Musket, .58 cal., lockplate dated 1862, buttplate and all three bands marked. Two leaf sight and both swivels present. Comes with proper swelled ramrod. No breaks.....SOLD
