Large signature clean and dark. It is matted with the cover used to send to an admirer in Battle Creek Michigan. The cover is postmarked from New York and dated October 30, 1884. Grant lived in New York from 1881 and began writing his memoirs in the Fall of 1884. He died there on July 23, 1885.....$595
