A) Colt Model 1861 Round Barrel Navy scarce .36 caliber revolver. All matching serial #s, manufactured 1862. Inspected grips (cartouche on one), Inspected parts ("S" behind trigger guard, "L" top of back strap, "C" on barrel left of wedge screw, "D" underneath barrel, "L" on cylinder, all nicely visible. "Colt's Patent" on frame, New York address on barrel, "Colt's Patent No. #" on cylinder and also "Engaged 16 May 1843". Scene itself is weak but with strong lines (ocean waves). Tight action. Smooth grey color. No pitting whatsoever. Brass is nicely aged. Has not been cleaned. Low four digit serial number. Very nice condition.....$3495
